Michael Ponder graduated from Tulane University in 1998 with a B.A. in Spanish. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern University Law Center in 2003 with a Juris Doctorate. He began working as an immigration lawyer in 2005, and he has had the pleasure of helping hundreds of immigrants get residency and citizenship in the U.S. Mr. Ponder has been passionate about immigration law since college: his experiences through Study Abroad in Madrid, Spain helped him understand what it's like to be a foreigner in an unfamiliar country and to empathize with the predicament of immigrants. In addition to his studies in Spain, Mr. Ponder's volunteer work through Latin American Student Association at Tulane also sparked his interest in immigration law. Besides his work with clients, Mr. Ponder also advocates for immigrants through volunteer work. He has performed volunteer legal work at American Gateways and Casa Marianella.

El Abogado Michael "Miguel" Ponder se recibio de abogado en el 2003, graduandose con honores especiales de Magna Cum Laude. Sus estudios incluyeron Español en la Universidad Compultense en Madrid, España, de 1996 a 1997. Despues continuo sus estudios y se graduó de la Universidad de Tulane en 1998 con un diploma en Estudios de Español.

Luego de terminar sus estudios, el Abogado empezo a practicar litigación civil con un bufete de abogados en New Orleans, Lousiana del 2003 a el 2005. Despues comenzó a trabajar en el campo de Inmigración en el 2005, y ha tenido el placer de ayudar a cientos de inmigrantes a conseguir sus visas, residencias y ciudadanía. Además de su trabajo con los clientes, el Abogado Ponder también aboga por los inmigrantes a través del trabajo voluntario.
